As my friend Tom Atlee says, we live in a time when “things are getting better and better and worse and worse, faster and faster.” It’s time we put our heads and hearts together in creative groups, small and large, and focus our talents on making positive contributions to the world our grandchildren will inherit. The kind of thinking and acting that’s required at this time cannot be done by single individuals. We must work together, learn from each other, and invite unusual and sometimes opposite perspectives into the mix. Through working together we will discover solutions and questions that lead us toward the world we wish to leave behind as our legacy.

Hello Gabriel, I’m Chris Jordan, a Seattle artist and fellow attendee of the Storyfield Conference. I was glad to see your post about “the Shift,” and your mention of Blessed Unrest. There’s been quite a bit of pretty woo-woo stuff on those blogs lately, so it’s good to see that there are some people attending Storyfield who are more interested in facing reality.
